Accessibility Information

Partial Wheelchair Accessibility

  • Ground floor location.
  • A player in a wheelchair would be unable to exit through the intended path, and would have to exit through the room entry door after the final puzzle is solved.
  • The first subroom is narrow, so two players in wheelchairs would be unable to navigate past each other until the second section of the room has been unlocked.

Minimum width passageway

  • The minimum width passageway in this room is 780mm.

Lighting and vision

  • One puzzle in the room requires a player with normal colour vision.

Sounds

  • There is a loud noise at one point in the room that is disabled with a button found in the room. Staff cannot disable the sound from happening but can help to disable it quickly once it starts, if required.
  • Clues are given using walkie talkies, however for hearing impaired players we can provide clues via txt messaging.

In Room Seating

  • For players who find it hard to stand for long periods, staff can move seats from our lounge area into the room for your comfort on request.

Minimising claustrophobia

  • The main door locks behind players with a magnetic lock. There is an emergency exit button which will depower the electromagnet that teams can press at any time to exit the room for any reason.
  • For groups including players who experience claustrophobia, the game can be played with the main door remaining open for games being played Monday to Friday, or for private events with full venue bookings.
